Dr. Elizabeth Grimpo
Piano Composition

DR. ELIZABETH GRIMPO is a professor of music at Concordia University, Nebraska. She holds an undergraduate degree in music education from Concordia, Chicago, and an M.M. and D.M.A. in piano performance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She has also received instruction in piano pedagogy. She maintains an active performing schedule, and enjoys performing both solo and collaborative repertoire. In 2015, she received the student nominated Teacher of the Year award from Concordia, Nebraska. Additionally, she has a deep love for hymnody of the Church and a passion for bringing the hymns to a level that even beginners can play.

Art Commissions

EDWARD RIOJAS is a freelance LCMS artist. From altarpieces, paintings, and processional crucifixes to murals, illustrations, and logos, his work can be found in Lutheran sanctuaries, institutions and private collections. He has illustrated music books published by St. Paul's Music Conservatory, and serves as an artistic advisor for David's Harp.

She believes that pairing the Word of God with music and weaving it into daily life, in and out of the home, is a key way to nurture children with truth needed for everlasting life.

Guitar Composition

ESTERA WAID is a Romanian-born church musician, guitarist, and teacher. Estera arranged “Hymns of the Season” for guitar in order to encourage children to have a worshipful heart for God, enhance their Biblical teachings through music and involve them in their local church. She resides in Houston, TX with her husband Michael and their son.

Dr. Kenneth T. Kosche
Organ and Piano Composition

DR. KENNETH T. KOSCHE is emeritus Professor of Music, Concordia University Wisconsin, from which he retired in 2009 after 31 years of service there. He holds BS and MS in Music Education degrees from the University of Illinois and a DMA in Choral Music from the University of Washington. Dr. Kosche has served churches in four states, beginning as a teenager. As a composer, he has nearly 500 publications with 17 publishers in the United States and Taiwan. His hymn tunes and settings appear in the Lutheran Service Book (2006), the Chinese Lutheran Service Book (2019), One and All, Rejoice (2020), Christian Worship (2021), and predecessor hymnal supplements.
