Rev. Nathan Sherrill
Executive Director

REV. NATHAN SHERRILL received a degree in Speech Communication from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2000. In 2005 he graduated from Concordia Theological Seminary in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and in the same year began at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Council Bluffs, IA as Associate Pastor. In 2008 he became sole pastor and has now worked with two different associates. Rev. Sherrill has been instrumental in ministry development at St. Paul’s, shepherding the establishment of St. Paul’s Lutheran Early Childhood Center, St. Paul’s Christ Academy, St. Paul’s Camp Creation and St. Paul’s Music Conservatory (SPMC). Through the work of SPMC, he and his Associate, Rev. Timothy Frank, have worked with clergy and laity alike from across the country to establish David’s Harp. Rev. Sherrill is married to Tina and they are blessed with seven children: Isaac, Lydia, Jeremiah, Naomi, Joel, Jonathan and Isabella. 

Rev. Timothy Frank

REV. TIMOTHY FRANK received a bachelor's degree in church music from Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN in 2007. In 2011 he graduated from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, IN and began the same year as pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Charter Oak, IA, St. Paul Lutheran Church, Charter Oak, IA, and St. Luke Lutheran Church, Ricketts, IA. While serving at the Triple Parish, he completed a master's degree in church music from Concordia University Wisconsin (emphasis in organ). Pastor Frank was installed as associate pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Council Bluffs, IA in 2016. In addition to serving as associate pastor, he serves as the adult choir director at St. Paul's and as administrator and teacher at St. Paul's Music Conservatory. Along with Rev. Nathan Sherrill, he oversaw the production of a CD and and two piano books published by St. Paul's Music Conservatory, and he now continues expanded work in this area as resource director for David's Harp. Pastor Frank is a member of the Omaha Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, Council Bluffs Evening Musicale, and Council Bluffs Music Teachers Association. He and his wife Sandra are blessed with five children: Samuel, Jonathan, Daniel, Matthew, and Ella.

Jay A. Lewis
Chief Development Officer

JAY A. LEWIS is an Instructor of Accounting at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, and a Certified Public Accountant. Prior to returning to his alma mater to join ULM's Accounting faculty in 2016, he had a 33-year career in public and private accounting and financial roles including 11 years with Deloitte & Touche, and 17 years with Entergy Corporation, a Fortune 500 electric utility holding company where he served as Chief Financial Officer of Entergy's Utility Operations Group for four years. He obtained his BBA in Accounting from ULM, and his MBA, with a concentration in Finance, from Tulane University. Mr. Lewis is a lifelong LCMS member, and currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Southern District of the LCMS, as well as the Executive Director of Trinity Lutheran Church in Monroe, LA.

Nicole Stickler

NICOLE STICKLER graduated from Iowa Western Community College in 2017 with an associates degree in Para Accounting. While finishing school, she started working for Treynor State Bank in their accounting department and has worked there ever since. Nicole is a student in St. Paul's Music Conservatory and enjoys continuing her love for piano through lessons and playing in church. Nicole and her husband were married in 2018 and currently live in Carson, Iowa.
